About Me

            Hello Lovelies, my name is Tanya Marie. I am a twenty-four year old beauty addict, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Unlike other beauty lovers, my love for makeup did not develop at a young age. When I was in eighth grade my uncle bought me a makeup set and I was confused on what to do with the set. I started wearing some makeup in high school, but it was mainly eye shadow and maybe pressed powders. In college I started to use foundation but that was near my last two years. Last year was when my love for makeup skyrocketed and all of a sudden I became obsessed.
            The reason for wearing makeup at first was to hide my flaws until I realized that I shouldn't be trying to hide behind makeup. Now I wear makeup to enhance my appearance and to play around with various products and create several looks. Also, I can leave the house without makeup which I never used to do. Honestly, I normally wear makeup on the weekends if I go out.
            The love I developed for beauty products is what inspired me to create a YouTube channel as well as what encouraged me to create this blog. My channel varies from beauty, challenges and tags, etc. I am hoping to grow my blog into more than just beauty and to share my life with you all because I want you all to be able to relate to me and feel like you are actually understanding who I am.
            Now here is a little bit about myself besides beauty: I am an amateur photographer and I have loved photography for many years. At first I loved to capture the beauty of nature or objects people would not be able to see the beauty as I have. Over the past year or so I have really enjoy portrait photography and photographing people as well as children. As much as I would love to be a traveling photographer or a self-taught Makeup Artist those two options are currently not in the cards for me so I must work. I currently work as a TSS worker which stands for Therapeutic Staff Support. With my position, I provide one-on-one interventions with adolescents under the age of 21 who have emotional, behavioral or mental issues.
